AIRVENTV siphon valve is designed to ensure proper ventilation of the engine’s exhaust system and prevent vacuum formation. The valve is self-regulating and only activates when necessary.
Application:
Engine: If the engine's exhaust outlet is positioned less than 15 cm above the waterline, a vacuum may form when the engine is turned off, potentially allowing water to be drawn into the engine through the exhaust system. To prevent this, the AIRVENTV siphon valve is installed, which only vents when needed. When the engine is stopped, the pressure equalizes, preventing vacuum formation in the hose and protecting the engine from water damage.
